The Church at Bushland is required to update the bylaws to include the following amendment. This requirement is a result of closing documents on the purchase of the south property. The following amendment has been voted and passed by the elder board. It must now be posted and then voted on by the church body.

AMENDMENT TO THE BYLAWS OF THE CHURCH AT BUSHLAND

The bylaws of the Church at Bushland shall be amended to add the following:

XI. DISSOLUTION

Upon dissolution of the church, the assets of the church shall be transferred to one or more religious, educational, charitable, or other similar organizations that are qualified for exemption under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3), as amended. The organization to whom the assets are to be transferred, and the terms of such transfer, shall be decided by a vote of 75% of the Board of Elders. In the event of 75% of the Board of Elders not being able to reach an agreement, the selection of an organization(s) that qualifies under this Section, and the terms of the transfer, shall be made by the Senior Pastor.
